POST TIME SILVER RIVER STATE PARK

Join us for four days and three nights of camping at Silver River State Park in Ocala, FL.  Dates for the rally are March 16, 17, 18, 2010.  Our rally will begin with a fully-catered dinner in the picnic pavilion.  

Silver River State Park is a 5,000-acre wooded park that encompasses all but the headsprings of the famous Silver River.   After a catered breakfast on March 17, we will visit Silver Springs and ride on their glass-bottom boats.   A very exciting day has been planned especially for you on March 18 at HITS (Horse Shows in the Sun) Winter Circuit Horse Show in Ocala.  The Farm is located about 12 miles west of Ocala on Hwy. 27.  After catered breakfast we will load some of our Roadtreks and drive to the Farm where we will view HITS ?Ocala Winter Celebration.?  HITS hunter/jumper horse show features 2000 horses with riders from all over the world.  It is now nationwide with world-class hunter/jumper circuits in CA, FL, AZ, NY and VA.

As Campground visitors, we can enjoy walking, hiking, biking, canoeing. After our visits to Silver Springs and HITS we‘ll return to our campground for delicious, catered dinners in our own picnic pavilion that your rally hosts have reserved for our breakfasts,

dinners and evening games. Participants must make their own camping reservations for Silver River State Park at www.ReserveAmerica.com or 800-326-3521.  Campground rates are very reasonable at $12 a night, plus applicable taxes, for FL residents 65 or older or disabled and $21 a night, plus applicable taxes, for all others.   Pets are welcome in this State Park.  Your hosts have reserved sites #6 and #8.  Make your reservation early as winter visitors fill this park quickly.
