Birds and  Antiques Rally December 4 thru the 7th.

Join us for three nights and four days of camping, bird watching, and antiquing at Paynes's Prairie  Preserve State Park located on US 411 between Ocala and Gainesville, Florida.   Leaders Mary and Hugh Nicolay of Melbourne Village are avid bird watchers will lead bird walks in the state park and nearby areas.  A visit to the nearby historic town of Micanopy to browse the antique shops and use book store is planned.  Other points of interest are the Marjorie Rawlings Historic Homestead at Cross Creek, Florida Natural History Museum, and the University of Florida Bat House from which 20,00 bats leave at sunset  for their evening feeding.

Participants must make their own camping reservations at the Preserve www.reserveamerica.com or  800-336-3521.  Early reservations are suggested.  Your leaders have reserved site #12.
